A native of Barbados, Dr. Kurt A. Lambert founded the Forlam Foundation in 2010. Before that, Kurt founded Harcourt Investment Consulting AG in 1997, which was a pioneer in the Swiss hedge fund industry managing in excess of USD 5 billion by the end of 2009. Kurt has a PhD in Economics from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with minor in Anthropology from Hofstra University.
Kurt is a passionate entrepreneur having built or been involved in the early stages of a number of firms to include Harcourt Investment Consulting AG, RepRisk AG & ViCAFE AG. Kurt has a strong interest in global issues related to health, the environment, women and minorities rights and economic development.
Christian Forrer
Christian Forrer is the co-founder of The Forlam Foundation. He is a Swiss citizen with a strong connection to Barbados through numerous visits and personal connections on the island. Christian is the founder of two well-known brands in Switzerland which are considered leaders in their respective markets: Vivi Kola AG & ViCAFE AG.
He is a trained, qualified wildlife ranger with a deep love of the African savannahs and is passionate about all that has to do with nature and its conservation.
